Game crashes in conquest for the guest player

We have the same issue. First we thought it might be an issue with conquest saves from pre-Sword & Solace (because of the admin answer from a similar solo conquest bug), but now it also occured with a new conquest.

We played Squirrel/Ox and Raven/Ox, and hosted locally.
It started with the new update, and it seems to have a 100% guarantee of kicking the guest player (we still managed to win solo a few times, but for what?).

Since the new update, I have tried twice to play the Valkyrie Galore mission in a Horse/Squirrel Conquest with my brother. He was the host and I was the guest. Each time my game has crashed to desktop at about 19 minutes without an error report. As far as new content goes, I chose Guardian both times and built Watchtowers that were scouting nearby zones. He picked the Leadership military path. I am unsure what is triggering the crash. I have also seen this issue posted on the Steam Discussion forums for Northgard. I am very excited for the new update, and to play Conquest with him. However, because there isn't a save function or the ability to rejoin, I can't waste both of our time with crashes. I have played 358 hours of this wonderful game in the past, so I hope a hotfix will come out soon. Developers/Moderators, feel free to email me if I can help somehow.

Same issue here, issue for me happened when guardian path defense tower scouted nearby zones. As soon as zone was scouted there was a chance for my game to crash. Reconnecting to the game afterwards also has 80% chance of causing a crash in the next 10 seconds. It's definitely playable, but frustratiing since I tend to choose guardian path.

Me too! Just came here to see if anyone else had this issue as well...
Me and my bf are playing conquest and this keeps happening after the latest update Sword & Solace.
I have yet to find a cause as to when this happens. But hope you figure it out sooN!! <3

I don't think it's limited to the conquest option since the last update i tried to play 3 games (2 today) and each time the guest player was disconnected. Each time we played a simple multiplayer game, invite only with 2 ai and 2 humans. We chose the random map, random start but each time we teamed up and the each ai were separated. Each of the game had for victory condition to eliminated all of the enemy. For each game it was run with my computer has the host and not on any of the game server.

For the last game, after being disconnected she tried to rejoint the game but she got stuck at the lobby. I tried to invite her back and nada... We tried multiple way to continu the game but everything failed. The worst part is while looking for a solution i came back to the game to see the status and while looking at her icone it not longer say disconnected so we thought we could continu but she was still stuck at the lobby. The worse part some feast got organised and some building got build

(since we are limited to a 1000 character)... (continuation) while she was stuck there. Before being disconnected she had no villager in that zone and the frame of the building was not even placed so it impossible that it was placed by her before being ejected from the game. She even completed closed the game and her status didn't change so either someone joined our game even if the game was invite only and run on my computer or somehow some AI took over...

think it has something to do with the military path '' GUARDIAN'' !! it only crashes when you pick this one and you are NOT the one hosting! its something about the towers. I have played 10 games on conquest with my bf who's hosting and 5 of those games i chose GUARDIAN and it was only those 5 games that the game crashed for me!

To day, me and my buddy. Was trying out a game. Raven/Wolf vs the AI (2vs2vs2vs2). My buddy was hosting. We have try from before per2per game play. And I did get random crashes. But no way to join back in to the game. But if you host on EU / US server. You get the chance to rejoin the game you did fall out from.
During this one game. I did crash 4 times, and I didn't get any error report. But I did notice some sync problems. If that's the problem here?
I was seeing some building's, that was glitching. But my friend didn't se the same bug on his screen.
So far I can only speculate that this is the problem. But as Lele did say "military path '' GUARDIAN'" I did pick the same. So maybe there is that. in combination with sync problem. because i do get lot of Sync problem with steam. After a game crash like this.

same - have stopped playing multiplayer. tried on 3 different occasions and all 3 times my pal crashed (I was hosting- we're lan'd together) maybe about 30mins in.
I don't remember this being an issue before the Sword & Solace update.
Shame though - really loved playing multiplpayer.

Our conquest crashes right at the start, when clicking on join the game, the guest loses the connection, has to be invited again, and then the same happens.

Game crashes 9/10 times at the end of battle in co-op conquest, when in menu and one player exits the game. It crashes for other player (same for host and same for joined player).

5.Game freezes, no screenshots or video.
6.Conquest happens often in multiple maps, in this case I was playing "The clan of the HORSE", "Threats from the Underground" map. Around year 4.

Hi I think I just hit the same thing...
My game seems to freeze but I'm still able to enter the menu. Then I also see the map etc. when I leave the menu, it seems to freeze again. But I can still move my mouse to the borderes or use wsad to move the camera. When I go back I absolutely see that the camera has moved. So I guess in the background the game still gets rendered and simulated (workers keep working).

I then saved my game, quit and reloaded, instant load to a frozen state.

I then tried loading the last autosave, this I can still play no issues. But at exactly the same gametime (saved again and both "frozen" files show 31 minutes) the game weirdly freezes again.

I never had issues like this befor but today I installed the latest update (3.2.3.34113).

I just started a regular solo skirmish and Same thing happened, this time after 49 mins...

The game has been rock solid for me in the last couple of years which ist why I strongly suspect there's something wrong with the latest patch.

In conquest mode on windows 10 pro, both directx or openGL, always screen freezes around 20 min playing(ending winter on 801 AD) on one of second missions with stoat clan where bonus is - less cost for buying zone. I still hear the game continues, but picture on screen freezed, if i load screen is fully black and still can hear game continues. Contact my email if u want my save, cant attach it here.
I think bug can appear after winter or after steel mining ending or else.
Very love ur game but after buying new Stoat clan this bug happens and even retry mission didnt help to resolve it, fix it asap plz.

This has also happened a couple of times for me
This has happened across several save files, different maps, playing as various clans; both hosting and not hosting. There doesn't seem to be a particular event that triggers it as far as I can tell. It makes my whole computer freeze and I have to restart my computer. Started happening after I bought Stoat, but might have also aligned with an update?

I have updated my drivers etc; and uninstalled the game (and reinstalled) and its still happening
