  1. Game does not even launch after last patch.
  It says: FATAL ERROR : Invalid signature for function ?std@sys_check_reload : PB_b required but P_b found in hdll

  3. DirectX 32 bit

  Verify file integrity:
  Clear Steam's browser & download cache and restart Steam

  Right click on Northgard in your steam library
  Properties
  In launch options write -console
  Launch the game
  When the game crashes copy and paste the text in the console

  Before the last patch i had zero problems to launch and play the game.

  Edit: I tried aswell:
  
  - Make sure that all your drivers are up to date
  - Try to check/verify you game files
  - Right click on Northgard in your steam library
  - Local Files
  - Check integrity
  - Reinstall the game
  
  Still no chance. Does not even launch.

  Guys,
  this has been noticed but hasn't been fixed since 2019... source : https://steamcommunity.com/app/466560/discussions/1/1609400247644800612/
  Support@shirogames.com and even private emails to staff are utterly useless.
  So i think a new years hangover isn't an excuse at this point and is beyond annoying. Is the game developer dead?

  Same boat as you Arnis. Same error message and everything. Neither OpenGL or DirectX work. I've tried everything under the sun to get this working and no dice.
  
  The game was working fine on my old laptop until I went to play it on my brand new one. Now nothing. Oddly enough, I can access it via Family share if I turn on my old laptop.

  when i started the game for the first time it couldnt load have tried to reinstall, verify game files, reinstall steam, open as administrator and tried in both DirectX and OpenGl

  downloading c++ redistributable x64 fixed it for me hope it helps anyone else
