Conquest / windows / DirectX - Bug where conquest wont load and gives black screen
When trying to load my game: Conquest - Load a Conquest - Wolf Clan - Continue 'Hostile Lands'. The game loads ('carving icy lakes') and then shows a black screen, bar the northgard cursor. I would upload an image but it is just a black screen.
This occurred after the update 13.12.22

Skie MergedStarted the game, went to conquest then load my game. Then when I choose the stage I am playing, I clicked continue. The screen will show it is loading the map and then when it is done. It just gets stuck on a black game. Nothing works when clicking had to close the program. Restarting and verifying the game integrity did not help. I am using Windows 11 and the game worked perfectly fine until recent update with the new DLC of the story mode. I ran the game with DirectX. I have not purchased the new DLC but had all the old ones. My conquest mode was just for stag clan. Thanks.

Sorry for not giving you a precision !
This issue concerns a started mission in a conquest. So, when a new patch comes, you may can't continue a started mission, but if you start again the mission save will work :)

PiperI can't even play Conquest. I only bought the game a couple weeks back, decided to try Conquest now that I have beat story. I cant even play it. I choose my clan, loading screen happens, and I get the smaller black box, hear a sound and it freezes there. Have to stop running the program. I can play every other mode, but not this. I can't believe this hasnt been fixed, I have seen postings going back to February about this. 2 months.... wtf is that... a whole game mode I can't play...

Vorto MergedI saved today the conquest final mission of the bear clan befor patch.
Now after the patch I wanted to continue playing but after pressing continue in the mission overview it loads briefly and the screen remains black. I have to use the task manager to end the game.
