Lore bug after getting the defensive strategy bonus for goat from swamps of death.

After getting the free defensive strategy bonus, I could not take any lore after that column (Military Strategy/Feeling safe) even though I had researched the previous lore, weaponsmith. At some point, they became lit up and I could take them. It was after I took the lore victory blessing, though I don't know if that had anything to do with it.
