catastrophic performance degradataion

This game has a serious performance problem and nothing is done about it. It slows down in multi player after about 10 minutes and gets slower and slower. In the end there is perhaps 1 frame per second, which makes it unplayable. It's frustrating to lose because you cannot control anything.
It started with the lion release. Before that no problem at all, which tells me that it's not my hardware. It's the game. Something is broken.
