GOG Linux Standalone Version shows random behaviour in context of expeditions and silver claims
OS: Debian GNU/Linux 12 (bookworm), x86-64, Linux 6.1.0-25-amd64
Northgard: latest Linux native from GOG 3.5.15.38668
Launcher: with/without Heroic Launcher 2.15.2 including "Comet" GOG-Galaxy compatibility
Observed behaviour:
On LInux multiplayer is not supported as of the GOG due to lack of GOG-Galaxy support. Therefore Multiplayer and Expeditions UI is grayed out. Nevertheless the game randomly (after finishing Story or Conquest missions in single-player mode) grants silver and allows access to the expeditions menu where the page for claiming silver rewards is located. The silver can be claimed, used to unlock cosmetics and equip them. However after doing missions/restarting the game everything gets reset and the formerly equipped cosmetics show as claimed, equipped, but not as owned and therefore cannot be used.
Expected behaviour:
Get access to silver-claiming page in offline mode (already randomly possible), get respective progress saved locally.
best regards
hexa

hexachlorcyclohexanAfter some testing I can reproduce this behaviour reliably now.
1. Open a game. It does not matter which game type, every campaign or conquest mission will do.
2. After the game is fully loaded, hit ESC and maneuver to "Expeditions". During an active game it is not greyed out. From here you cannot claim silver BUT:
3. Close the game (but do not return to desktop) and now the "Expeditions" menu point at the startpage is no longer greyed out. You can now claim silver which in turn can be used to claim awards, BUT (again) :D:
4. Even if the game now somehow knows your excess silver and knows your rewards from last time all of this gets reset when the game is closed to desktop and reopened.
There are some other observations I made regarding the granted silver and the corresponding "mini-quests" I will post in the next comment. -

hexachlorcyclohexanAdditional observations:
1. The game does not reward silver for finishing missions in Rig's Saga or Vidars Cross, but rewards silver for completing the bonus-objectives of said missions.
2. Bonus-objectives silver like: defeat 20 Wolves during a mission is rewarded.
3. Bonus cosmetics for finishing expedition milestones are not rewarded correctly (tested with snake clan and kraken clan), but can be claimed (but not used, at least in said expedition) when following the first comments steps.
4. Cosmetics can generally not be claimed without the beforehand mentioned procedure, EVEN if the seemingly cost no silver.
5. Season rewards can be claimed after the procedure even if playing the seasons is impossible on linux right now.

There is something going south, I guess. -

KyonidesI've experienced the same issue with silver bars on Kubuntu Noble Numbat 24.04. Yet, if you change the language settings once, the expeditions button gets enabled. If you changed the language setting back to your preferred language, you can still open the expeditions list and pick any available silver bars at will. Next time you play a single player game, you'll be able to see your cosmetics being used by your clan or kingdom. The treasures section also works. The problem comes when you close the game and reopen it or open it the next day, there's no guarantee you'll be able to check the expeditions and the treasures you've claimed or still want to claim. You'd need to follow the same steps to make it work, at least for a game session. Not sure if you can play more than 1 game session and still keep your cosmetics and shield adornment intact.
