Can select the same upgrade twice in Bifrost solo

When choosing the year end buffs in a single player Bifrost mode, I was confused as to why the choose button wasn't working so I rapidly clicked the choose button

This resulted in taking the same buff twice (in my case 30% defense for warriors)

The 2nd buff did not have any effect, but did take up one of the upgrade slots

I was able to repeat the process and confirm the bug the in the third year easily and got two +25 health buffs. They also did not stack

I'm seeing duplicate bonuses after completing the first mission. AFAIK they don't seem to stack.
During the first mission, I had to click the bonus I wanted several times (and confirm) before being able to proceed. Is that expected?
