Vanaheim. Map generation. Player locked behind Gullveig tile.
Eagle solo bifrost, vanaheim map, was bottlenecked in map generation by the boss tile (locked behind) with 4/5 tiles colonizable. No winter waves could attack as no flags were placed in territory each winter, presumably because they could not run through the boss tile, so never had any attacks.

The DebaucheryCan confirm this happens rarely. Due to the RNG nature of the map generation, rock barriers, and the certain zone types that can't be colonised, sometimes the last stage of Bifrost will lock the player into a relatively small area and bottleneck or outright block invading waves.
I've not seen it render the map unwinnable yet, but I did have over half the map locked behind Gullveig's zone and a single Fox Den so I couldn't fulfil either of the bonus objectives, and literally all waves came through the same Fox Den which made it comically easy to defend by just parking my entire warband there. -

VarinathrasIt's a special mockery to the player if the side objectives on the map are all to Colonize the Pillar of Glory / the other one when you're locked into a tiny part of the map thanks to cliffs + animal dens
