Bifrost/Conquest crash when creating/completing a game

Game crashes when you try to create doesn't matter if it's peer to peer or on the server. Tried multiple clans , solo, with 3 players, etc. all would never load first map. Tried repairing game, reinstalling, etc. Can load an old game no problem but can't start a new one. Never gets past the loading screen after selecting buildings

Can not launch bifrost with Ox. Hardest difficulty, solo. Stuck on "almost ready" loading screen

Upd: also tested on other clans, they stuck on loading too. Strange cause I complete some bifrosts earlier this week and they didn't have this problem. Checking Steam files and reinstall not helped.

When the single game or Conquest victory screen appears, the screen freezes before moving to the main screen or pressing continue. (DirectX)

Game crashes every time, when I got in the end screen in the Kraken Conquer. I think, it crashes then, when a ghost fleet a territory - that can't be shown in the mini map and then it crashes.

It's on every conquer in Kraken, every mission.
Misson is passed, so I can play further after I restart the game.
I play it on GOG, newest version, Windows 10 latest patches
I think is DirectX.
Then you come to the end screen, it crashes.

Should be easy to reproduce.

Starting a new Bifrost game solo on Normal difficulty with Ox clan : the game freezes on the loading screen, with loading indicator full, yet nothing happens even after waiting several minutes.
Tried a few times : on P2P, on Europe server, with other clan (Horse), without success.
Playing on Windows with DirectX

Since a couple of days ago, some friends and I have noticed issues specific to Bifrost Mode. When trying to start up a game, solo or co-op, and after finishing it, the game process will hang for roughly five to ten minutes. This only occurs in Bifrost Mode, and does not affect Story Mode, Conquest Mode, or normal multiplayer games.

EDIT: I just remembered that the game freezing after finishing a match does occur outside Bifrost Mode. I had this happen last night after a match of Stoat Conquest.

I can't create new bifrost game, my game on any clan is stuck after creating world (on almost done step or 5-10 secs at game). I've tried all servers: p2p, asia, europe. Co-op is okay, loading existing (not new) games is ok too.

Starting Saturday campaign and single player conquest crashes for me at victory status, defeats do not cause a crash. Seems also similar to complaints on steam that started this weekend.

on completing any game, crashes/causes app hang on victory screen. tried on macos 15.2 normal and failsafe modes, windows 10 directx and opengl modes w/o steam overlay. reinstalled game on windows 10 (ssd), fully updated os.

so far has occurred on fimbulvinter as bear and stag, and stoat's first conquest in multiplayer.

received credit/achievement for completing stoat's conquest, but no credit received for completing fimbulvinter - however, completing fimbulvinter as stag awarded the achievement foreign legion despite NOT meeting its criteria.

the other player in the conquest did *not* experience the crash/app hang, they are on a fully updated windows 10 pc, opengl mode, albeit with different hardware. if it matters, i was the host for that conquest and we're on a local area network.

*PS I submitted this yesterday with the same name/email but wanted to update it with more troubleshooting information, but couldn't get back to the original submission. sorry for any incon

Dear Support,

Since last update I experienced major crash at the end of a game, when I reach victory. It happens when I win during a story & during conquest in multi. I reproduced it every time.
How can I share the last save from story mode because when I recovered it, I still have the bug. I win, I have the cinematic, then the badge saying I won, then the game crash.

I play on Windows, with DirectX

The last three victories playing solo conquest: victory screen shows, the playback runs fine, but as soon as I try to click on "return to conquest" or "Show statistics" the game freezes, and I have to force close it. Clicking "show victory conditions" did not crash the game. There is no way to click on the "report a bug" button since the whole game has crashed. When I load the game again it still registers the win at least, so it's only an annoying issue.

For the past 24h, almost ALL games I've completed (Conquests, Cross of Vidars) have crashed upon completion. As soon as I try to click on a button to leave the game (Continue, return to conquest map, retry), the game crashes and I lose progression. It has been quite frustrating. Many hours lost

exactly as the title says the game crashes after wining or even just trying to start a new bifrost, there are lots of reports on steam disscussion about it but i can't find an actual report here. it is easily recreatable and happens 100% of the time
