Bfrost Befriend the Jontuun Bug

After Befriending the Jontuun.... no selection screen comes up. You can't select the "reward" so you don't get it and can never build the Jontuun hut even though it says you are 100% befriended and at Battle ally.
The quest also disappears from the quest box on the top right. Not completed/checked off or even open... the line vanishes.
This has happened to us on Coop and single player. No rhyme or reason to it.
