Befriend the Jotnar Fails on Completion

In the Conquest mission "Befriend the Jotnar" (as of Winds of Fate update) getting to 100 friendship with the Jotnar marks them as defeated and fails the quest (I tried restarting the mission from scratch and encountered the same thing again). Playing Eagle clan.
On PC, running DirectX
