Caravans can't mine gold or Nidavellir stalactites

In Nidavellir during a Bifrost, try to mine a stalactite, select stone on the caravan and try to mine it, the caravan doesn't start mining it and you get a notification idle workers from the caravan. The same applies to gold deposits, however, you are not even select it with a Caravan.
