Borgild won't attack Hrimgandr, sig's story chapter 9

I've crafted wurmslayer, but Borgild won't attack Hrimgandr at all.
Thing to note is that Borgild was dead when I crafted Wurmslayer. That could perhaps have caused the issue.

FabianSame here, crafted wurmslayer, grabbed monster slayer lore, she's not attacking the Hrimgandr and keeps getting hurt. While in some videos I see her attacking it and getting healed while doing it. No success here. On current definitive edition steam version.
Is there any possibility to skip this bugged mission and move on to the next?
