Ox Conquest "How to train your Wyvern" produces too many enemies on Extreme

Maybe I'm just bad at the game, but I haven't found a way to beat this map even through save scumming. The enemies just produce a ridiculous amount of army which I can manage to skirmish around for about 2 years. But with no way to heal the wyvern eggs, the enemies end up eventually overrunning the tile and destroying the objective by sending kamikazes that ignore my army

HollowTry harass. And by Ox it seems to be a good idea to take all major buffs. Also try find good pos of egg with walls or another tile-blocks to colonize other ways to attack. AI will attack ur tiles, not egg.

NorokEven on Hard as Ox I find this mission impossible. The AI starts attacking the egg within the first year. There is no way for me to produce an army fast enough, large enough, to defend the egg before the AI throws enough damage at it to take it down.

AndrewSame issue w/ lynx conquest on extreme. Attacks start too early (year 1,) are too numerous, (8 stack on year 1 GOOD LUCK,) and the single minded targeting makes it impossible to defend on the egg tile; as the enemy will suicide into the egg for even 1 hit; eventually that unhealable damage adds up and that's a wipe.

The suggestion to harass doesn't credit the fact that the egg spawns in the middle of the map. To cordon off the egg from enemies would require more food than is possible by year 1 to take those tiles away, even if you could reach them prior to the enemy capturing them.
This concept has the air of the befriend the Jotun map; where you must make friends before the enemy attacks. A real joke of a map since Offering Wells were added. The trouble is, Jotun actually defend themselves, and will heal if left alone for long enough; and on this map in particular, the enemy will not attack until at least Y3.
Not a fan of this new map, wish I'd done lynx prior to the Odin update. -

DaLosarStill bugged in January 2024, this bug is over a year old...
Please stop suggesting simple things such as "harass", its 1x3 and each enemy have 10 military by the start of year 1, which moves in blocks. At that time you can't fight as any clan, so you have to keep respawning hoping for good RNG or that the AI bugs
If the CPU finds you it recognizes it has 5x more army and start stealing territories. Often they colonize around the egg too, so you have to fight them to get to the egg
