Most of my buildings and units dissappeared

I'm like 180 minutes into a game and when I reloaded a save the majority of buildings and units in the game are gone.

1. solo
2. windows 10
3 directx
4. doesn't matter if I load from auto save or regular save. If I load other saves it doesn't happen, but those saves don't work properly. They do that thing where the screen is frozen but the game continues.

Enemy buildings and units disappeared after i loaded the autosave in a conquest. Reloading does not fix the bug. I run the game in windows 10 with DirectX.
