Crash on Conquest Selection

Hello, recently I was in hospital and using the hospital wifi network.
There were some ports blocked not allowing me to load my ranking or the expeditions. I played and finished my conquest and since returning home I've just crashed on clicking Conquest.
I read that cloud sync could be a cause, however after turning it off for the game It still continues to crash.
I decided to delete the conquest save folder in the install files and it seemed to fix it. however it's unfortunate losing the 2 other conquests I had not finished yet.
