  Upvote. Finished chapter 4 (cross of vidar)- 4 times on normal and evertime it crashed when tryin to click on the ''continue'' button. Did not happen when I completed it on extreme however

  same thing, happens at the end of the 2nd mission for me. Was really looking forward to playing this more, but have spent a whole hour dealing with this...

  I like to add that if you leave it alone and not click anything, after few minutes it continues loading.

  Happens on every episode, waiting for it to continue works for the first episode in a gaming session, the next chapter will freeze completely and never come back.

  Freezes when you press 'Continue' after a Chapter (Story Mode) or a Conquest. This is obviously a common issue! It freezes, then after about 5 minutes recovers (if you have the patience to wait it out). Windows Task Mgr shows moderate CPU and moderate RAM usage, but very little disk write or network activity. I am playing with Borderless window.

  The same thing is happening with me. I started to play yesterday and today I finished misison 2 of Cross of Vidar, now it freezes when I click "Continue" in the victory screen. "Northgard is not responding". Some people told me to wait that it will eventually work. I waited for 20 minutes and nothing happened. I verified files and even reinstalled the game, nothing.

  I finished 4th chapter of rig. Now it's impossible to start chapter 5.
  I am playing on a Mac M4
  Will this problem get fixed? It seems to exist since severals years? Or are there any tips and tricks?
