Linux steam version crashes silently on startup

  It works, but without connection to steam.
  
  In the log I see the following:
  
  Failed to read options.ini
  Failed to read hotkeys.ini
  [S_API] SteamAPI_Init(): SteamAPI_IsSteamRunning() did not locate a running instance of Steam.
  dlopen failed trying to load:
  /home/amishaa/.steam/sdk64/steamclient.so
  with error:
  /home/amishaa/.steam/sdk64/steamclient.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
  [S_API] SteamAPI_Init(): Failed to load module '/home/amishaa/.steam/sdk64/steamclient.so'
  Steam failed to activate
  
  
  De-facto steamclient.so is located (in my installation) under ~/common/.local/share/Steam/linux64/steamclient.so

  Hey Mikhail Andreev,
  
  Could you please go to your northgard installation folder, and run in a terminal : ./linux/run.sh , and check if it crash and send the terminal messages to us?

  And, as steam connection is missing, I see
  mpman/Api.hx:121: [MPMAN] [25/01/09 14:51:33] [ERROR] Failed to login : Null user
  errors later on, and it requires me to login to steam in order to go past the startup menu.
