Connecting to game stuck at top, penalty for leaving ranked

I joined a 3v3 ranked. When I got in someone on the opponents team didn't get in. Weidly I had connecting to game still on the top of my screen and there was no UI changes(Dragon essence was stuck, but they still had the affects as after a while the thralls stopped working but the UI didn't show it).
When the rest of the opponents left and I got back to main menu it said I had left a ranked game and couldn't join until waiting
