[Conquest] Save and Load causes enemy AI to cancel attack

This seems to be a general AI issue and not related to any specific clans or maps.
When an AI attacks with their army, if you then save and then load the save you just created, the enemy AI just leaves instantly. Even if they were in the middle of fighting.
This is quite exploitable as you can literally prevent them from attacking. And you can wait until a favourable time to do so.
