Chapter 4: Victory despite losing

In story mode, when playing chapter 4, the objective is to reach 2000 trade points before the Raven clans. In my first game, I failed at that goal. When the Raven clan reached 2000, I had barely started my first long trade route. Yet, the game continued with no option for me to forfeit victory. When I finally reached 2000 trade points, I received the victorious cinematic + victory screen and chapter 5 opened up. This makes no sense.

I am experiencing the same bug. I tried both bannermen, but that did not have any effect. The defeat condition simply does not trigger.
