Huge Map Size Won't Load

When I try to load the game with the Huge map size, it shows a graphic of the potential island and the spawn points. Then goes through multiple, potential islands to be generated. Eventually it gets stuck in an endless loop of not choosing an island to load. I did JUST download the most recent patch.

It finally loaded, but there was a single instance where the bar got to loading enemies and showed all the map variants. then reloaded the bar.
