When a shipwreck takes too much space on a small shore, you can not build a shipyard

  I feel like there should be an alternate build method where you select the zone and a list of peaceable buildings pops up. Then you click the building and the game places it for you. Would help in many building-challenged zones (swamps and shores).

  Sometimes it even stays green, but got cancelled if you left-click.
  Positions of docks/harbors are sometimes quite hard.

  Yes, this can be annoying on some maps and should be fixed. Not sure why it was tagged as "not a bug" without a comment from a dev. You should be able to comfortably (without spending excess time trying to find some super-precise positioning) place down a dock on every tile with a shipwreck - because those tiles are shores.

  I've actually once had a shoreline too short, so it corrected itself to be perpendicular to the shore, which wasn't possible because there was iron in the way.
  This is especially infuriating as most building placements don't matter, but with ships (and according to another thread) farms you can get blocked off from building. The only other tile i've occasionally had issues with building were swamps, but there i feel it's somewhat intentional.

  I had the bug today with my main tile. I played as dragon so I had the Sacrificial Pyre. It blocked my complete beach and I wasnt able to build a ship. Please fix that too

  seed : 559060283 where bug happened. let be honest, seed is not important. just make shipyard be able to clip or something. Maybe make it literally same as wheat where you can place farm anywhere when you used to not be able to place it anywhere. Just make it temporary fix by fixing it like wheat and fix it later. please!

  I've had it before where I still managed to place the building by hovering it away from the shore and letting the auto place put it on top of the shipwreck, causing them to overlap
